Easy 3Dflex 250g

Easy 3Dflex is the one Powertex fans reach for when they want drama. Mix it with Universal Medium and water and let it dry, and you'll watch deep, dramatic crackles open up across the surface as it cures — a signature crackle finish that's uniquely 3Dflex's own, and honestly a little bit magic to watch happen. It's also a natural, non-toxic powder for building bold sculptural texture and easy air-dry clay, so it earns its place on the table well beyond that one showstopping effect.

While Stone Art builds a stone-like structural texture and Powersmooth gives you a fine, refined finish, 3Dflex is your go-to for texture with character — from rugged, organic relief to those signature deep crackles. Mix it with any of our Universal Medium colors to build a custom texture paste, or combine it in equal parts with Universal Medium for a sculpting paste that air-dries rock hard.

This medium is natural and non-toxic. Gloves and a dust mask are optional but nice to have on hand when you're working with any dry, dusty powder.

What you can do with it:

• Mix with Universal Medium and water for deep, dramatic crackle effects
• Combine equal parts with Universal Medium for a rock-hard air-dry sculpting paste
• Add to acrylic paint for thicker, textured strokes
• Press stencils, stamps, shells, rope, screws, or buttons into it to create texture or molds

Tips:

• Our tried-and-true crackle recipe: mix Universal Medium and water 50/50 first, blending well. Then add 3Dflex powder a little at a time, stirring, stirring, stirring between each addition, until it builds into a nice thick paste — one that holds its shape and won't slide off your project with gravity.
• Combine with Bister for strong, layered visual effects
