3D Sand & Balls Sample Pack

Not sure which texture is right for your project? The 3D Sand & Balls Sample Pack lets you try both in one go — Powertex 3D Balls' raised, rounded granules for bold dimensional relief, and 3D Sand/Dust's fine grit for subtle, natural-looking texture. Between the two, you've got the full range from delicate grain to sculptural bulk.

Both are porous, so they take color beautifully when mixed into any Universal Medium color — or use them with acrylics or any other medium entirely.

What you can do with it:

• Stir either into wet Universal Medium to build texture and dimension
• Sprinkle 3D Balls onto a tacky surface for scattered raised detail
• Layer Sand/Dust for subtle grit, or go heavier for a bolder, more dramatic texture
• Combine both in the same piece for contrast between coarse and fine texture

Tips:

• Apply while your base medium is still wet or tacky for the strongest bond
• Once you know which texture you love, shop the full sizes: 3D Balls (Small, Medium, Large) and 3D Sand/Dust 1kg
