Base for Sculptures and Floral Designs 3.5" x 3.5" 1 pin 12"

This is our entry-level base for tall, narrow work — approximately 3.5" x 3.5" with a single pin that stands a full 12" high, giving slender sculptures and floral designs the height they need without a bulky footprint. (Sizes are approximate — these bases are manufactured in Europe to metric measurements, converted here for easy reference.)

Wrap the base in plastic wrap or aluminum foil first to keep it clean, then build your fabric-hardened or Stone Art/Powersmooth clay sculpture right up and over the pin. A tall floral stem can simply slide onto the pin for instant lift — perfect for narrow figures, statement blooms, or any piece that wants to stand tall on a shelf or accent table.

This is a lighter, thinner base than the rest of our line — a great budget-friendly starting point, but because it's not as heavy, keep your build on the lighter and more balanced side. Avoid piling on too much weight up top, especially toward one side, or the base can tip.

What you can do with it:

• Build tall, narrow, lightweight fabric-hardened or clay sculptures directly onto the pin (protect the base first with plastic wrap or foil)
• Secure a single dramatic stem or bloom for a statement floral display
• Display on a shelf, accent table, or gallery setting where height matters more than footprint

• Keep your build well-balanced and avoid top-heavy designs — this base is lighter and thinner than our standard bases
