Fabric Sculpture Starter Bundle

Everything you need to go from a length of fabric to a finished, standing sculpture — this is the bundle I'd hand a fiber-sculpture beginner on day one.

It's built around the same process I use for every fabric piece: harden and shape your fabric with Universal Medium, add texture and dimension with fiber, and finish with pigment and varnish for a piece that holds its color and shape for good.

• Powerwool (70g) — soft fiber for hair, texture, or dimensional detail

What you can do with it:

• Harden fabric with Universal Medium to build the base form of a figure or sculptural shape
• Work fiber into wet areas for hair, texture, or dimensional detail
• Mix pigments into Universal Medium or dry-brush them over raised detail once dry
• Seal the finished piece with Easy Varnish for lasting protection

Tips:

• Let fabric start to stiffen before coming back to refine its final shape
• Bronze Gold dry-brushed over raised texture is a fast way to make a piece look gallery-finished
