Powertex Bister Brown Patina 500ml

This is your refill for the Brown Patina Spray Ink — the same rich, water-based tinted walnut ink, in our bulk size for frequent studio use. It's how you keep that signature aged, atmospheric depth going in your studio without running out mid-project.

Add it to a spray bottle or apply with a pipette onto a lighter-colored Universal Medium base — Ivory is a favorite — and let it settle into your piece's texture and recesses for natural-looking contrast and depth.

Bister is water-reactive and not permanent on its own — seal with Easy Varnish or transparent Universal Medium once you're happy with the effect.

What you can do with it:

• Refill your Brown Patina Spray Ink bottle, or apply directly with a pipette
• Spray or dab onto a light Universal Medium base for instant depth and contrast
• Layer with other Bister colors for a custom, atmospheric patina

Tips:

• A pipette gives you precise control for small, detailed areas than a full spray
• Seal with Easy Varnish or transparent Universal Medium for lasting protection
