Took too long for it to dry with acrylic paints mixed in 4 days latter and it’s still soft.

We do realize this new formula takes a bit longer to dry and that will also vary with how thick you apply and what climate you are in. However, it will dry and provide a slight sheen and helps to blend your acrylics so beautifully in your painting. We'd love to hear if your project has now dried and have you tried to use thinner layers? Thanks for sharing your experience with us as all will help us improve in the future.

After being with an artist in Sparti who works with powertex, it was a pain to find it here to use but thankfully I found this shop!! Orders have been shipped with care and attention to detail and concern of the pieces and mediums and pigments and the orders are always prompt and nothing drips or cracks or explodes!! I mix it with acrylic paint for a cold wax feel but without the hassle of oil paint and solvents. My recipe: 1 part PowerWax, 1 part matte gel medium, 2 parts acrylic paint.
