Rusty Powder 455g

There's something almost magical about watching real rust bloom across a surface you built yourself. Rusty Powder is genuine metal powder, not a printed or painted effect — mix it into a light-colored medium with a little vinegar right in the mix, apply it, then spray on additional vinegar-water solution and watch an authentic, weathered patina develop right before your eyes over the next 24 hours.

Mix Rusty Powder, a little vinegar, and a light Universal Medium color — Ivory or Yellow Ochre work beautifully — or Easy Structure, then apply with a palette knife or brush wherever you want that aged, industrial character.

What you can do with it:

• Mix into Universal Medium Ivory or Yellow Ochre for an authentic rust base
• Combine with Easy Structure for rust texture with real dimension
• Apply to sculptures, paintings, or mixed-media pieces for a weathered, timeworn look
• Layer multiple vinegar-water applications for a deeper, richer patina

Tips:

• Mix a little vinegar directly into your Rusty Powder and Universal Medium blend before applying
• Once applied, spray the surface with a water-and-vinegar solution to activate the rusting further, repeating as needed for more depth
• Give it at least 24 hours to fully develop before judging the final look
