Powertex 3D Sand/Dust 2.5kg

Powertex 3D Sand/Dust is your fine-grain texture medium — where 3D Balls give you raised, rounded relief, Sand/Dust builds subtle grit and natural-looking depth into a surface. Stir it into wet Universal Medium or any other medium, and it dries fast into a genuinely tactile, sandy finish.

It's porous, so it takes color beautifully rather than sitting flat on top — mix it into any Universal Medium color, or blend it with acrylics or another binder entirely.

What you can do with it:

• Stir into wet Universal Medium for a fine, natural sandy texture
• Blend with acrylics or other mediums for gritty texture beyond Powertex projects
• Layer subtle or dramatic relief depending on how heavily you apply it
• Combine with 3D Balls for contrast between coarse and fine texture in the same piece

Tips:

• Apply while your base medium is still wet or tacky for the strongest bond
• Build it up in light layers for subtle grit, or go heavier in one pass for a bolder, more dramatic texture
