I'm a mixed media artist and Powertex is a main component for many of my pieces. As time goes on, I'm coming up with more and more uses for this product. I recently purchased some very old apothecary bottles at an estate sale. Several of the bottles still had labels on them. They were very fragile - dating back to the early 1900s. I was able to preserve them beautifully using the Transparent Powertex. I also found an old opera score dating back to 1910. It, too, was very fragile. I was able to create a very interesting 2D relief using several Powertex products, including the Transparent. As long as I'm creating artwork, I'll be using Powertex! Thank you!

I ordered this item to put under a large cut glass vase and it is truly beautiful. It shows the beautiful cutting on the glass and the colors it brings out is outstanding.
So happy with my purchase

Strong enough to suspend my sculptures. Great for minimal display

Very useful product for my fiber art Jewelry. It is a bit messy to work with, but with the right tools, and a very heavy drop cloth, the results were just what I wanted. The fabrics turned out to be gorgeous, my textiles are firm and easy to cut into the shapes that I need. Great product!

Going back for more colors now -- they are dark and moody, and add so much depth.

I have worked with this product for years. I make figures and animals with it. Never had a problem

I have been searching for a medium that will give my paintings a certain matte finish and to give my collages a more uniform surface - this wax is exactly what I needed. I’ve only used it so far as a top layer- I will play more with adding paint to it as well. So far I’m very happy with the results.

I love your product!!!!!!!!!

Very versatile product that will have many uses in mixed media projects.

I received my first Powerwax in April or May 2025 so I assume it is the second formula. I love that the texture is truly "waxy" like I wanted from a cold wax. It does take some effort with your palette knife to blend with paint, it doesn't simply blend with a brush. I take out a chunk and work it with my knife to soften and smooth out chunks before I add paint. As an acrylic artist I'm excited to have something that works like cold wax since I love the texture and look of oils with cold wax, but I don't work in oil. It does lengthen the drying time of acrylics. For me it's dry to the touch in about a day, still much faster than oils! There is a bit of a solvent smell (makes sense since some kind of solvent is going to be necessary to make a wax water soluble), but it goes away once it dries. I wish I could purchase it somewhere locally because my only concern is having it shipped during the hot summer months.

Great product arrived on time great packaching and had a nice thank you note attached happy with purchase and will purchase again!
