Collection: Powertex Color Pigments

Color is where a piece comes alive. A sculpture can be beautiful in plain Ivory, but the moment you dry-brush a little bronze over the raised folds, it starts to tell a story.

Powertex pigments are highly concentrated powders, so a little goes a long way. You'll find three families here:

  • Powercolor pigments for rich, true color, from earthy ochres to bright turquoise
  • Colortricx metallics for real shimmer: golds, coppers, silvers, pearls, and color-shifting chameleons
  • Bister powders for that aged, walnut-ink depth that settles into every crevice

Mix pigment into wet Universal Medium to tint your base, knead it into Stone Art or Powersmooth clay for color all the way through, or stir a pinch into Easy Varnish and dry-brush it over raised detail. That last one is my favorite finishing move.

Planning to mix pigment with water for a spray or wash? Add Powderfix so the color stays put. Not sure which colors go together? Start with one of our Pigment Bundles or sample kits.
